How much work is enough? Here are my top suggestions for sellers:
1. Paint: Walls/trim throughout should be in great condition
2. Gardening/Curb Appeal: At a minimum: Clean, cut and well maintained.
Buyer’s won’t even leave the car if they do not like what they see
3. Flooring: Mint condition
4. Time to tackle all Handyman tasks, no deferred maintenance
5. cleaning; Do not cut corners here Each dollar a seller spends on these five items will make the property more presentable to the market and increase buyer’s the confidence that the the property is well tended and a solid investment.
And for the WOW factor? That’s when a Stager comes handy.
