Create a Bewitching Kitchen

Bewitched Kitchen from hookedonhouses.net

Bewitched Family Photo from hookedonhouses.comSamantha Stephens wiggled her nose into the hearts of audiences in the 1960s and 1970s. The popular sitcom, Bewitched, was famous for frequently changing things up on the set. The retro comedy switched the actor that played Samantha’s husband, Darrin, and the kitchen design was changed as well. Specifically the kitchen appliances. Throughout the series the color of the appliances changed according to the trends of the day, from avocado green to cream with chrome accents.

Currently, we are witnessing another shift in color trends for kitchen appliances. In recent years stainless steel has been considered a “must have” for the modern kitchen. History has a way of repeating itself and much like the Stephens’ kitchen appliances, modern day kitchens are changing colors as well. Blues, reds, greens, and browns are popping up on refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers. No longer are individuals confined to white, black, and the ever popular stainless steel appliances. Imagine having a purple refBewitched Cartoon Openingrigerator and a pink dishwasher or a green oven and a blue microwave.

When the time comes for you to renovate your kitchen or purchase new appliances look to the new ly available rainbow of colors that are at your disposal. I promise the results will be bewitching.
