Accessorizing a room with the right objects can really help make the space feel more inviting and illustrate the right aesthetics. Design2Sell has put together some key home staging tips on successfully arranging accessories.

  •         The Right Accessories-Choose accessories that work well with the room and don’t focus on spesific hobbies or interests of the owner. Remember, Depersonalization is key.
  •         Arranging Accessories in Groups– It’s always best to group accessories in odd numbers, preferably in threes. Using a trio is very eye pleasing. Try arranging the items in a triangle shape rather than a row where needed.
  •         Arranging Accessories by Height– Scale is important in leading the eye across the items. Vary your items by height and width, with the largest item in the back and the smallest in the front.
  •         Arranging Accessories by Unifying Elements – try grouping your accessories by color, shape and texture (ie. Glass, wood bowls, plants, shells)
