Design2Sell at Showcase 2007

Design2Sell participated for the first time at Showcase 2007, held at Cobb Galleria on August 23rd, 2007. More than 5,000 real estate industry professionals attended the Trade Show. The event, organized by the Atlanta Board of Realtors, also raised over $100,000 to support the Atlanta Chapter of Habit for Humanity and the Atlanta Board Educations Foundation.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Trade Show. Congratulations to our raffle prize winners!!! Kelly Kays from Remax won our first prize gift basket & Vanessa Eberbach from Solid Source Realty won the second prize of Emeril’s tailgate kit. We look forward to seeing you at Showcase 2008!

Worldwide Staging Week

The International Association of Home Staging Professionals Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Barb Schwarz, announced September 9-16, 2007 as the worldwide staging week. Each year, local IAHSP chapter members come together to give back to the community. From the Atlanta area, 11 volunteers including Design2Sell  had the opportunity to volunteer at the Houston Mill location (near Emory) of Ronald McDonald House.  The Ronald McDonald House offers “A Home Away From Home” for families with critically ill children. A full day of services included creating door decorations, staging/organizing the common areas, landscaping, cooking/serving dinner and baked snacks.  At the end of the day, each of the 28 units had their very own fall wreaths at their doors! The employees at the House were very impressed with how staging the offices and lounges created a more inviting space for them.
